Dr. Fred Crisafulli, M.D., F.A.C.P.

A physician in the private practice of Internal Medicine and Primary Care in Providence for over 35 years..

A native of New York City, he completed his undergraduate work at St. Peter's College and was granted the M.D. degree by New York University School of Medicine in 1969. His postgraduate training was done at Downstate Medical Center, State University  of  New  York  in  Brooklyn,  New York and he completed a cardiology fellowship at the Miriam Hospital in 1973.

He was certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in 1973 and became a Fellow of the American College of physicians in 1977.

Dr. Crisafulli has been a professor of medical education for the vast majority of his career, teaching at Brown University School of Medicine and mentoring medical students and residents. Dr. Crisafulli remains dedicated to the continuing evolution and progress of the medical profession.

 

Dr. Frank D'Alessandro, M.D.

A board certified physician in Internal Medicine, Dr. D'Alessandro has practiced in Rhode Island for over 15 years.

Dr. D'Alessandro received his bachelors degree from Boston University and was awarded his Medical Degree from Ross University before going on to train in Internal Medicine at Yale University's affiliate Waterbury Hospital in Connecticut. He has practiced in California and Rhode Island, and has served as a medical educator for Penn State College of Medicine as well as Boston University's Internal Medicine Residency Program at Roger Williams Hospital in Providence.

Dr. D'Alessandro's clinical interests include diabetes, hypertension, cholesterol metabolism and preventative health measures. He is a fellow of the American Board of Internal Medicine and a member of Rhode Island Primary Care (RIPC), he is a clinical staff member of Fatima Hospital in Providence.

 

Dr. Jonathan Martin, M.D.

Dr. Martin is both a Primary Care physician and Medical Director of the East Side Urgent Care. He is the newest addition to East Side Primary Care and brings with him the most current thinking in Primary General Medicine.

Born and Raised in Rhode Island, Dr. Martin has a special bond with the community in which he practices. Dr. Martin received a Bachelors Degree, summa cum laude, from The University of Rhode Island and his Medical Degree from Penn State University College of Medicine. He trained at Boston University's residency program in Internal Medicine at Roger Williams Medical Center in Providence.

Dr. Martin has a research background in Molecular Biology and Genetics and has published a number of articles on the molecular basis of liver disease and alcohol metabolism. His clinical interests are preventative health measures, renal insufficiency, and cardiovascular disease.
